Everyone seems to hate the cops but what's funny is that the same people don't want to become cops. They just want to be a side commentator like Stu Lantz, y know.. telling the world what's right and what's wrong but when it comes to walking the walk, they'd rather stay cozy inside their house while hoping the cops are outside protecting them. What a great society we live in!

Also many people hate on cops all the time but the next time something happens... 911 hello I'm so scared someone broke into my house.

I think it's idiotic to hate all cops, but it's also stupid to think all cops are perfect. Cops are a position of authority and respect and not the only one either.. any time there is a position like that, there will be many corrupt people in that position to take advantage, it's human nature. Businessmen will be committing fraud whenever possible, priests will fondle kids, cops will beat up blacks... all these positions will think they are too big to be wrong or questioned and will stick to defending their peers.

Corrupt/racist cops will happen, but the worst **** part of all is that there's hardly ever any justice done, because the damn justice system is working to defend their image and the same damn cops. In an ideal world, obviously cops wouldn't be corrupt.. but in a better and more realistic world, when we find assh0le pig cops, we bring the full hammer of justice upon them and make an example out of them.

Why the **** would I take a cop's salary? No offense dude but they don't have anything valuable to offer me then again law enforcement has never interested me when I found out their salary, which is why law school is where I'm headed.

For someone talking about people commentating you seem to be commentating over the commentating already going on, in the same side man style you speak of trying to poke some sarcasm. I am never hoping cops are outside "protecting" me, on the contrary. As I said, since the incident I believe a fire arm is much more useful if someone breaks in than going through the process of calling 911 and having the cops show up. Have you ever gone through that? Not worth the hassle, when usually a glass of whiskey does a little more for you than the cops do with their bs "we'll be writing a report and blah blah blah setting it on fire blah blah blah"

I don't hate cops, I hate the ACTIONS of THESE cops. If a bunch of pastors got together and beat the **** out of some old lady I would hate them as well.

Well when i was 15 years old i was stopped by cops and harrassed and had my face shoved into a fence because i asked why i was being harrassed when i had did nothing wrong! "NOT COOL"

When i was 16 i was pulled over by cops at least once a month and simply checked out or harrassed for no reason other than "Driving while black" "NOT COOL"

When i drive i take my hat off because i could get pulled over because a black man wearing a baseball cap while driving fits a profile "NOT COOL"

When i drive i never even hold my phone in my hand even though everyone else is even holding theirs up to their face talking but if touch mine i will get pulled over and have my name run for warrants, insurance checked, maybe even car checked for no reason "NOT COOL"

When i drive i sit a certain way so if a cop drives by they can automatically see that i am wearing a seat belt because if it's not way way visable i will get pulled over again and have my name run for warrants, insurance checked, maybe even car checked for no reason "NOT COOL"

I could go on and on but i will spare all of you. The fact is cops no matter black or white have a chip on their shoulder and are forced to profile. Most cops are not bad people but simply make bad choices while on duty not realizing that when they make a bad choice it's way different than the guy at Mc Donalds forgetting to put your fries in the bag at the drive thru. Their bad choices can kill and put innocent people behind bars.
