I like me some Pau but you guys are giving him way too much leverage for his shortcomings. However I do agree that we need floor spacing to let our big men improve their low post performances.

They finally did the right thing and utilized all of their best players together. Kobe-Pau P and R with Bynum the recipient of the quick post-up pass or the drive from Kobe. That's it, that's all it takes. One play but it works and works well. Oh and by the way Sessions can run it too. It's so much more effective when you can use your best players together. Even OKC with all the talk about how great they are still can't even design plays that use any of their best players together.

That's the difference with the Lakers. When they're together they're simply the best 1-2-3 punch.

I still think it would be best if the Lakers trade Pau after this season no matter how the playoffs turn out. He's simply paid too much and you never know how long he can sustain his performance before he disappears again.
