I'll say this, I was more concerned with the prospect of the Lakers not being able to hang with Okc. Last night we proved we could compete with them. The win was needed and necessary, but can't lose full respective. Kobe should get some calls at home that will free him up and make for easier shots down the stretch. Hopefully the role players are energized by playing at home and finally we won't have to deal with that Okc crowd. I still have hope. Let's get this thing 2-2.

"Fisher understood what could await the Thunder when they walk into the Staples Center on Friday night. Never had Bryant looked so fallible, and never will he be more motivated.
Wednesday night had bled into Thursday morning, as Kobe made the walk to the Lakers' bus. He'd never admit it, but he knew he gave away this game. He also knows it's up to him to take back the series."

I knew this game would stress me out too much so I turned it off after the half. So I check the score and it's tied in the fourth quarter then all of a sudden they had a seven point lead, Then three then one then leading by one with almost no time left. Epic breakdown.

I feel like OKC will turn it up and play really well in LA. Not taking advantage of their off night will really end up costing us.

Kobe can't take back anything considering his age and quality of team we're facing. He really hasn't shot any better than he did last year against Dallas, when he was supposedly injured. If he couldn't get us at least one win then I doubt he can now. Our fate lies with Bynum and Pau.

What can you ask more from Kobe though? he's playing in the flow of the game and passing when there were good looks for Pau and Bynum as we saw all through last night's game. I don't think effort was the problem last night more execution simple fundamentals that were completely blown.

I don't have to ever worry about Kobe not playing with heart although heart doesn't always win you games but if other Lakers turned up the heart a bit we'd be in better positions closing games out.

I'm with everyone that has been saying this game ruined their whole day. Man it really sucks. I turned off my t.v and went on NBA.com on my phone while being in bed. We were up 7 with 2 mins to go and I was extremely happy that this team fought hard on both ends the whole night. I was thinking to myself that we stole a game in OKC, and then this happens. What a complete meltdown. Heart breaking really.

Sigh, I'm depressed :(

Can't say it ruined my day, I generally expect the worse and hope for the best.

We'd better win tomorrow if we don't, don't expect a game 5.

Boy I tell ya, ESPN is on a mission to prove LeBron's more clutch than Kobe. All I've seen all day is them showing where LeBron is averaging 41% in crunch time while Kobe is 25.9%. And then this time on Sportscenter they cleverly hide their agenda by comparing MJ's numbers to LeBron and Kobe's.

I'm on to you ESPN.

Call me pessimistic, but I think we're done. They'd have to win 4 of the next 5 with back to back games in LA. Good **** luck... maybe if the league didn't **** us over with this schedule, I'd have reason for optimism.

We are done. It's just a matter of whether we'll win a game or two, or get swept out of the playoffs for the second consecutive year.

If we get swept for the 2nd year in a row best believe this team won't be here next season.

That's really the only silver-lining... Mike Brown will most likely be gone too.
