There are many teams out there that would invest in Kobe. The Mavs would snatch him up. Let alone tams that need to sell tickets. The lolcats. But thankfully Kobe isn't going anywhere. He will wait for management to do what needs to be done.

What ever is to come (if anything) is the biggest risk to Kobe's career as it will determine how it ends.

who would the mavs give the lakers? who would the bobcats?

there just isn't anything that is remotely realistic for all parties, he's untradeable.

I wouldn't compare Kobe to AI if it was just these two playoff games where he struggled. When there is a two month stretch where a player consistently shot below 40% from the field you would question if he should still be declared as a top 5 player even if he can play like one at any given time. Lebron, Wade, and in particular Dwight had their off days, but none of them ended the second half of the season as badly as Kobe did. The argument of Kobe being a top 5 player would still hold weight if he is still playing great in the playoffs. He was disappointing last year and it is not looking good this year. We will have to wait and see.

Instead of trading Kobe how bout this
Trade 1:D-Will and Brook Lopez in a sign-n-trade for Gasol
Trade 2: Bynum for Dwight Howard
Roster
Williams/Sessions
Kobe/Blake
Artest/Barnes
Lopez/Hill
Howard/?
