That Nicka wrote:I would like Adelman for our offense, I think he would get the most out of Pau - who has fallen off a cliff these last 2 playoffs.

I like Jeff Van Gundy a lot.... Brian Shaw also....

I dont like the McMillan or Sloan suggestions.

Pau is getting traded, let's just get that out of the way. And this is not an overreaction from tonight's loss either, the fact that he's declining along with us needing to get younger and cheaper virtually spells the end of Gasol in LA.

As others have stated, Brown is an excellent defensive coach but every other aspect of his coaching is horrendous. There is no offense or set game plan to speak of. Either they keep it in house and promote Messina to the head coach position and make Brown the defensive coordinator, or they need to get from under Brown and hire a coach like Stan Van, or Adelman if he's even a possibility.

I love how Mike Brown becomes the scapegoat akin to Heat's coach.

no...wrong...lakernation has been extremely split on brown since he was hired last june...

i have been very consistent in my dislike of him as a laker coach...

and yes , from what ive seen in this okc series, we could be easily be up 3-1, and yes competent coaching would ensure that...i mean, yes younger, hungrier, etc...but there was only one blowout, and three really tight games...thats coaching, which can make that difference....

You know, he should hold some responsibility for our 4th quarter collapses. The finals 2 minutes in both of these close losses we've retreated to Kobe iso ball aka Mike Brown ball aka Lebron James offense. He's stated time and time before that he wants the ball in Kobe's hands when it comes down to crunch time and I don't disagree with that. But how he used Kobe is completely mind boggling to me. It's always an iso starting above the 3 on the right side and our WHOLE TEAM CLEARS OUT LEFT. Give him space I get it, but where are Kobe's options? He literally has no option but too shoot. We should be running high pick and rolls with Gasol at the top of the key. It's how we've won championships during crunch time in the past. And he fails to see this. Remember when Kobe missed a game winner a couple years ago against the Thunder, and Gasol was there for the quick put back win? No one is even ever in position to rebound with this kind of **** play call when Kobe misses cause they're all cleared out to the left. I'm frustrated and maybe he is the scapegoat, but he is the most glaring problem with this team if you ask me.

We've all seen and laughed at this picture back in Lebrons Cavs days. The jokes on us now.

Do the Lakers even have the personnel to run SVG's style of basketball?
