I'm pretty sure bynum's going nowhere, considering the FO man-love.

The lakers are said to be hesitant about investing big money into Bynum for the long term. It isn't cut and dry as it was once believed.

Would anyone else be surprised to see Anthony Davis a Laker by way of Bynum?

Astonished. Zero chance of that happening.

Be astonished. Why is it so perplexing?

I doubt it would happen, but we could trade him for his rights as the 1 pick.
I would not put my trust in Davis. Sure he has potential, but he could also be a bust!

This is what happens when you sell draft picks year after year. We probably could have had Ty Lawson or Jrue Holiday right now if management didn't feel all rookies outside the lottery were useless, but of course Sasha Vujacic at 5 million per is a valuable asset and rookies making 800k are a waste of money. Every year I just smacked my head as the lakers sold off picks that eventually turned into rotation players on other teams or could have been used combined with a couple million cash to move up, players that would have done even better practicing with Kobe, Artest, and FIsh.

We got swept in the playoffs with Kobe on the roster too. And Bynum. And Phil. And Pau.

Lamar was the 6moy last year. It would be great to get him back. Remember how bad our bench was this postseason?

I just want Doc to finally admit that I was right about calling Troy and McRoberts trash that wasn't going to help us.

Where you at Doc ?

I was strongly in favor of Troy Murphy as well.

I had him as my fifth big and would have started him (w/only 20 mins a game) at some points during season (before Hill arrived) to make room for Gasol off the bench.

If Bynum is still here next year I would sign him again though. He shouldn't be in the rotation, but I like his ability to space the floor with a legit, big boned low post threat like Bynum.

He just isn't used properly (reference Matt Bonner).

I expect that spot to be filled by Michael Be Easy. I think the plan originally was to get rid of Blake-Fisher in order to bring in the salary of Michael Beasley. I realize that Hill was productive was L.A. but I think Beasley is the guy they want out of that spot.

Also a note on Goudelock. He envisions himself to be a scoring PG so take that as a you will.

I think he has the tools to be a solid defender, bring the ball up, make the right choice, and score much the way the team needed Steve Blake to.
