Dwill has already made it clear a few times he isnt making his move based on what other players are doing. These rumors are being cooked up by sports writers looking for website hits. Only Dwill knows what Dwill wants.

No team is going to add 19 mil for the next 2 seasons. Pau is staying a Laker. Lakers can not afford to sign DW or any big name without trading core players and they do not want to add money. What the lakers have now is what will be on the team next year and the year after. As sad as it sounds. :(

You guys have to understand that D12 does not want any part of the Lakers. He does not want to be second fiddle to Kobe OR follow in Shaq's footsteps. Dwill maybe but I doubt it as Brooklyn does not want Pau.

Beasley might be on the Lakers radar but it will depend on the salary of course because he is a bit of knucklehead.

Best scenario I can think of is trading Pau to Houston for lowry and the 14th and 16th picks and use them on a 2 guard to be a Kobe back up and a stretch 4 to help Hill.

Celtics fan here but do you really want a locker room with Bynum, MWP and Beasley?

only sign and trade that would be somewhat interesting would be for Jordan Hill. Wolves have zero need for McRoberts.

Why do people always ask this dumb question. Since when has Ron Artest been a locker room issue for the Lakers? Bynum has had his small share of issues but be real. MWP has been a locker room distraction since Indiana...8 years ago, let it go.

Maybe not locker room issues but the guy is still a loose cannon and I do not think it would good fit for Beasley who needs veteran leadership to whip him into shape and I don't think having Kobe would be enough especially with those other 2. Beasley one night can go off for 30 and then the next not even reach ten, do you really want another inconsistent player on this team.

Beasley came into the best shape of his life last season. He wasn't in that kind of shape since his K-State days. Beasley isn't really a bad guy or anything like that. He just needs a focus, which is what I agree with you about. I don't think that would be an issue on a winning team. He'll fall in line.

Artest may be a loose cannon at times but as far as his committment to a team no NBA player has ever questioned that about him. In fact alot of coaches and players have spoken highly of him. Beasley on the other hand is rather young and is on a team where they really wouldnt commit him to a role. Whether or not that was his fault or not remains unknown. Personally I think he can fit with LA.

Best shot will be on draft night or July 1st. If it does not happen by say July 10, then all these rumors go where they always go. In to the black hole of space to never be heard from again.

People are clearly overreacting to Michael Beasley locker room distraction/cancer to whatever you want to call it.

Straight up for McRoberts? seeing how he didn't get much playing time to begin with, yes.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
