I'd prefer Rondo as well. I mean he can't shoot, but MAN he can really set everyone up. Imagine all the good easy looks Kobe will have playing with Rondo. And Kobe admires his talent as well. Plus his defense is really good. Getting the ball outta Kobe's hands is KEY. Plus don't forget we would have to go through Lawson, Westbrook, Parker and even Deron if he goes to Mavs. Then we can let Kobe focus on what he does best, SCORING

That said , if i had to choose between Dwight and Deron i choose Dwight. Good piece and franchise player for when Kobe leaves.

rondo + kobe in the first unit and sessions with a run-and-gun in the second unit would be pretty awesome to watch; teams' defenses could never get comfortable.

But there is almost 0 percent that happens...that rumor went from 5 percent possible to 0 after that Heat series where Rondo lit it up. No way the Celtics trade their best player for LA's perceived 3rd best.

Id rather have Smith over Randolph and Beasley over Hill...the ATL trade seems realistics but highly doubt the Lakers entertain a Randolph trade with his long term contract.

Sam Amico on Twitter wrote:Source close to situation says if Dwight Howard isn't dealt to Rockets today or tomorrow, Lakers fans may have reason to get excited. "Rockets are exhausting resources. If it's not enough, (Lakers) will likely move in within the next few weeks."
