Glock's was a two year signing with a non-guar team option... not a qual offer like Darius. That's why Darius is getting 200k more. He only signed a one year with RFA option. He took a different contractual path.

He can still become a good backup PG, but he has to make it work this year. His best trait is that he can guard 2s allowing you to play undersized combo guards or undersized SGs like Odom and Goudelock.

Right on ... and don't forget he is a great passer as well, like Deep said though, he has to get his reps in on that jader.

If he doesn't learn to shoot at just a moderate level, he won't have a chance on this team.

I think he improved as far as that goes towards the end of the year. He was definitely bulkier.

Naw man, jader is not a "muscle region" or a body part.

My fault.
That's what we called jumpshots when I played at Westchester. I use that word so commonly with people I've been playing with for years, that I thought it was a commonly used term in LA.

Who cares? Darius Morris hasn't shown anything. Goudelock, ok, a little something. Ebanks? Don't make me laugh.

The young players on the Lakers aren't that good at all. That's just a fact right now.

Only reason why the Lakers are tended an offer to Morris is that the Lakers' moves are so damn limited anyways. Kobe needs a practice partner I guess.

Forget this kid and Goudelock they should try to pursue Delonte West...Perfect combo guard off the bench

I hope you're talking about him having potential in being the next Peter North, because it certainly aint on the basketball court.

Lakers Re-Sign Darius Morris To Qualifying Offer
July 2 at 2:21pm CST By Luke Adams

The Lakers have re-signed Darius Morris to his qualifying offer, reports Marc J. Spears of Yahoo! Sports (via Twitter). The deal will pay him about $962K for 2012/13. Because Morris accepted the one-year offer, he'll be a free agent again next summer.
Morris, 21, saw limited time on the court for the Lakers in 2011/12, averaging under nine minutes in his 19 games. After the Lakers' season ended, he talked about potentially signing somewhere he could earn more playing time, but his decision suggests he's confident that playing time will present itself in Los Angeles.

"I love it here in L.A.," Morris said in May. "But being a young player, it's really important to be somewhere you feel you have an opportunity to play and get to grow on the court most importantly... We'll see what happens."

Players are allowed to accept qualifying offers during the July moratorium, so Morris' deal with the Lakers can be finalized immediately, rather than being delayed until July 11th.
