Another thing, how can you guys say that MWP outside shooting is horrible when he has a better 3pt shot than Grant Hill? Nobody gave a rats ass about Grant until it was rumored that Nash was recruiting him. The man will be 40 in Oct and hasnt played any defense at a high level. MWP in shape was giving us 14ppg, good lockdown D that only advanced stats can quantify and shot 33% from outside. In the playoffs he gave us 11 ppg while shooting 40 percent from 3. I ask this again, what else should he be doing on a team with 3 player capable of hitting 20?

they scared

off the top of my head, terrence williams. young, long, athletic, can play d, play point forward, can score (outside shot needs work), can rebound, and most importantly, can be picked up for nothing.

He would balance Glock in the second unit. He needs a little humility but he would make sense as answer to the Laker's problems of having Goudelock at the 1.

PG- Goudelock
SG- Williams
SF- Ebanks
PF- Jamison

There you go, now Goudelock is a feasible player in the backup rotation.

But Glock walks around like he's got to go to work in a bell tower after the game's over. Looks like a slightly (Please Use More Appropriate Word) person out there, honestly. Yeah he can shoot, but that's about it honestly. At best he's an undersized Jason Kapono.

ye i think he has scoliosis or something. dudes a hunched back.

regarding his size; thats why they need to play him at the 1 and use him as a shooter, not a facilitator. thus the reason i like t.williams to LA.

Blake might be in the Howard deal. I think that rumor of a player being told he might be in a deal is in fact Ebanks.

Amazing isn't it snaq ? I mean this whole amnesty thing is way way over blown, leads me to believe if guys really understand the whole point of the clause. The bottom line is Dr.Buss is still on the hook for the dough no matter what.

So lets take the examples laid out.....

Metta makes $7,258,960 in 12-13 and a ETO for 13-14 $7,727,280 for a total of 14.9 mil

Blake makes 8 mil for the next 2 seasons

Grand total of 22.9 mil, yeah it comes off the books.......But Dr.Buss isn't going to turn around and put that dough right back on the books for fringe players. And it won't be a guy out there that can do what Metta does against the elite 3's of the league. Unless you're finding a way to get Trevor back somebody tell me who the hell our wing defender will be ?

LA doesnt need a point forward and if Terrence Williams' D was so great why does he have such an issue finding a roster spot. If you can play D on the wing in the NBA you have no issues getting a job.

did you actually watch him play last season in sac or are you just saying this based on the fact that he has indeed been through 3 teams in 3 years? cause if you did watch him, you would see what i saw.
also, im not talking about him starting. this is strictly off the bench. hes better than any guard/ sf we have currently coming off the bench. i have no doubt about that. and can be had for cheaper than any of them.

For the camp that wants Metta gone answer me this....

Who the hell are you gonna replace him with on the perimeter?

I'm gonna love waiting for these genius answers. You guys think offense too damn much.Basketball is more than that.

I don't amnesty either. Peace is critical to future run ins against LBJ or Durant. I try and trade Blake for a second to a team that has a young PG in the fold such as Portland. Blake needs to go and the Lakers need to pick up Delonte West with the vet min.
