Hill's the kinda guy who makes a looker room unite and want to play for one another(according to Steve Nash), Raja Bell not so much.

Our team needs more glue guys in the locker room after losing some in Fisher and Odom, regardless of his stats last year we need to bring in Grant Hill if he agrees to a vet min deal. Im not nearly as interested in Raja, rather give Meeks a go and finally add some youth.

For me Raja is more of a last resort type of signing, where if we couldn't find anyone better we'll settle for him.

As much as I like Matt Barnes he needs to go. He can't make. Jump shot to save his life and we need to space floor desperately.

I didnt seen much of Raja's game last year but if he can still shoot how he used to then I'm all for it. He's no slouch on defense either. The same goes for Hill

I'd be more than happy if we can field a 2nd unit with Hill/McBob/G Hill/Goudelock/Blake next season. We could run Nash with that line up and he will turn tap water into wine.

I think he's still useful. He's got the shooting numbers the Lakers need and I would like to see just how much is defensive numbers have in fact declined. If he can guard 2s effectively still and shoot the 3 then he's exactly what you want next to Nash, even at this age.

Signing Raja would be AWESOME. Excellent 3 point shooter we can afford. Probably the best 3point shooter willing to accept less money to play for the Lakers.

Those of you prefering Grant Hill over Raja are trippin. Hill is older with more injury concerns and Grant doesn't shoot the ball well from the perimeter.

You say you want certain attributes from free agents. But name players who do not fit under the cap or do not possess the skills to strengthen a laker weakness. Stop contradicting yourselves!!!!

I'll take 36 year old raja bell and his hustle and defensive prowess. Lakers fans would be lucky to have him.

Looking at his career stats tells you 25% about his game. The other 75% is all hustle, defense, hands in your face, staying in front of his man, tips, shadowing the offensive player around screens. And he knows his place on offense. Create space...find a good spot to get open and shoot-and-make open dish out jumpers.

Should Raja find his way into the Laker locker room. Im sure many of you haters will convert to raja supporters.

2 things laker fans have been pining for....elite pg and 3point shooting defensive wing.

Also his age doesn't matter. When he brings more energy to the table than most 20 somethings.

Raja can be this teams Ron Harper, Glen Rice, Mitch Richmond, Micheal Cooper, etc...

Why are your guys hatin'. Haters gonna hate. No matter how much good sense it makes.

Sign Raja Bell & Grant HIll and bring back Jordan Hill, making the Lakers set to start the season.

PG - S. Nash/S. Blake
SG - K. Bryant/R. Bell
SF - R. Artest/G. Hill
PF - P. Gasol/J. McRoberts
C - A. Bynum/J. Hill

Going by statistics he's still a good shooter, shooting close to 40% from downtown last season. As for his defense, I haven't seen him play that much but according to others his defense has decreased.

No thanks, would much rather have G-Lock get the minutes at this point.

Return to Los Angeles Lakers
