It would be pretty funny if he got a roster spot

Kobe 34 yrs old next season
Pau 32 yrs old
MWP 33 yrs old next season
Nash 39 yrs old next season
Jamison 36 yrs old
Blake 33 yrs old next season

with the additions of:

O'Neal 34 yrs old next season
G.Hill 40 yrs old next season

Basically, the only young dude who would be part of the rotation would be Bynum, and maybe Rush/Meeks if we get one of them

Assuming we sign JO and Hill and that's it,and we're using a 9 man rotation with the players from above, the average age of those players in the rotation would be 34 yrs old
I don't think I ever saw that on any NBA team

Lakers could be landing forward Antawn Jamison & center Jermaine O'Neal to minimum deals, sources tell Y! Jordan Hill interest remains, too.

JO just wrapped his workout with MK and MB
Workout last one hour and included mainly shooting and post up drills. Also with some sprinting. JO looked good but who knows what that means after 10 or 20 games into the season. He appeared to be in pretty good shape with no laboring and if the Lakers take a pass he likely will have other suitors!

Also on another court the Lakers had Brandon Rush working out and he looked good as well. He was working out with Mike Browns son and others and MB's son supposedly has a great stroke from the arch!

Didn't JO get the Kobe knee procedure? Seems like everyone is doing it these days.

I guess I'm not too disappointed with this news if we do sign him. We need a backup C and there really isn't much out there.

Looks like the twitter reports say that JO has a lack of mobility and some denying it.

But reading the Boston board, they absolutely hate the guy. Says he is useless and mentally weak and wishes that we sign him.

Who wants that? Mitch please reconsider
