Also philly fans aren't nearly as crazy about the 76ers as they are about the phillies and eagles, thats just a fact.

I liked young Bynum when he dunked on Shaq. I liked him when he finally took over as the starter for Kwame. I liked his great run pre-Pau, and his fast start the next year with Pau hurt.

I never liked him getting mroe credit than Lamar, Fish, Ron/Trevor for his playoff runs on those finals teams because he did less work all in the playoffs than them.

I likes Bynum when he came back under PHil and was all defense first.

I didn't like the Barea hit because ti was a bitch move that he would never pull on anyone big and on two feet. I wrote off the Crash hit as an accident and Beasley hit mostly because Beasley is an ass, but Barea was just a bitch thing imo.

This year was the largest dose of Bynum we have ever had in a season. Also the largest unfiltered dose without Phil poking him, Fish/Lamar coddling him, and he acted like an ass. I just disliked him more and more as the season went on. Not joining hudddles, not running back on D, being the last one down the court on D and first one up it on O, not playing hard every game, talking **** to Denver and then not playing hard or well at all, the 3 to troll Brown, the stupid ejections vs Houston, the bank in every city comments, and so on.

I'm not saying Kobe and Shaq or even Magic weren't douches. They all were, but they had the game to back it up whenever they touched the court. Bynum doesn't have the consistent game or will to do that and back up the **** he talks or make up for the silly things he did. He just wore on my patience probably faster than any Laker in a year since Smush.

They were crazy during the Iverson days. Bynum is probably the greatest prospect they have gotten since Iverson in the 96 draft imo and should revive that interest his first month or two

Lol point proven again, after the good, here came the but. And give me that Drew doesn't buck up to the bigger players. He has Perkins & all the wanna be thugs on notice. You don't ever see them try that crap with Drew. In fact even D 12 doesn't try the rough stuff with AB33

I never understood what liking a player has to do with anything. As long as the poster was posting facts to backup his views about a player. DEEP has admitted to not liking D12 multiple times, so in the future am I suppose to call him on that even if his criticism of D12 is valid. I just really wish people would post based on the debate being discussed as opposed to ignoring someone's well thought out post with, well you don't like him. That doesn't make that persons post any less valid.

Anyhow, I don't think Bynum lived up to his potential. Maybe he can in Philly. During our championship run he filled a needed void for us....defense. He gutted it out, hurt leg and all.

Then that's what they need to do then. I've never bashed a poster for not liking a player if there are facts. I don't think you liked Bynum all that much but you gave credit where credit is due. When he underachieved you called him on it like you were suppose to.

Even though I'm in the obvious minority of one of the liked Drew I called him on everything. From his laziness to the bad attitude, not joining the huddle & all. I even went on record saying Drew lost me.

With that said, Drew never got a fair shake to me. He had some unfortunate injuries & was never looked at the same again. For the most part I dont think he ever got his just due because guys here were just too partial towards Pau. Pau was soooooo instrumental in both of our titles that once he began to not be the same player, it seemed that most guys began to take it out on Drew because of their affinity for Pau.

Once he became is own man he began to be an ass & didn't show up at times.

Now does that mean its valid to just bash & bash & bash? Hell No! Like I said to any and all posters who don't like Drew, HE IS OFF YOUR TEAM NOW. BE HAPPY & LET IT GO. HE'S PHILLY'S PROBLEM NOW.

Also to answer another question big game, maybe he will live up to his expectations in Philly. Only time will tell.

I think the point is Big Game is that Ankle was actually going off kblo247's post history regarding Drew. It has nothing to do if Ankle had a sentimental liking to him. I could be wrong but it seems like your post is coming directly at Ankle here. If you retrace the thread you'll see kblo practically had a clear agenda to continue to trash Drew ,myself and Ankle both said he needs to let it go. I mean what vendetta is he trying to push here ?

iamworthy wrote: As long as the poster was posting facts to backup his views about a player. DEEP has admitted to not liking D12 multiple times, so in the future am I suppose to call him on that even if his criticism of D12 is valid.
Actually BG, kblo only had one post where he laid out his dislikes. Which many would agree were valid, I don't think Ankle ever tried to refute that. In fact I don't think Ankle refuted kblo on anything other than calling him on his dislike for Drew, which if you know a posters history it's undisputedable that kblo has always criticized Drew at every chance he got. As far as my dislike, it's only to do with a few off court issues and minor on court stuff. If any criticism I lay out on D12 during the season happens, it won't be because I've already stated I don't like him. I'd keep it to issues just revolving that game. It would be petty of me to keep harping on such criticism when I've already established the foundation. This is what Ankle was getting to with kblo in a nutshell.......he kept harping on Drew and trying to expand his logic to other areas that quite frankly didn't even involve ball anymore. Which is in a nutshell well......petty.

Again BG I don't think Ankle tried to make kblo's point invalid at all....other than just asking him to man up and admit his dislike. Even Doc said such thing was easy to do.

iamworthy wrote:Anyhow, I don't think Bynum lived up to his potential. Maybe he can in Philly. During our championship run he filled a needed void for us....defense. He gutted it out, hurt leg and all.
This is debatable BG, again we NEVER saw Drew get the chance and nor was he unless the team extracted itself of Kobe and Pau before Drew. To a degree I've always thought that Mitch and Doc Buss along with JB never fully felt like entrusting the franchise on Drew's shoulders. And being real about it Drew opened that wedge himself with his actions. No need to recant.

That said bottom line is this, and I told stunnar0b this today.....we need to all move on from Drew. He's gone now and it's no use in dragging his name around and downing him for the sake of trying to make D12 look like the best tasting slice of bread we've had. You know this BG you were around when we all here was taking lumps from the Suns and it's fan base.

It was guys like myself, TonyMontana, you and countless others bonding as one fam and putting in our clown work ! But now we got of taste of some titles and all these fractions started pop'in up and guys started siding with certain players to like and certain players to bash. I could go on and really break this down but that'll be trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill......useless energy at that point.

But bottom line like Ankle said we need to let it go.......everybody just let it go.

Thanks for the all the hard work Bynum. Even when you got hurt, it helped us get Gasol.

Unless some medical breakthrough occurs between now and then, I bet you whatever Bynum's knees give out before 2018.
