The more I think about Nash being a 38 year old pg with chronic back issues playing around 30-32mpg, the more I cringe that Steve Blake is going to be his back up that will probably take the remainding 16-18 mpg. Sessions would have been perfect, I would name my child Mitch if he managed to make a trade to trade Steve Blake+(Goudlock/whatever bench scrub Charlotte may want) for Ramon Sessions. I felt very comfortable with sessions running our offense, and feel as if with his speed, driving ability, and overall skillset would have been great wonders for us. To have a pg come off the bench and switch the tempo of the game is exactly what puts teams over the top, back in 2011 Dallas had it with Jason Kidd and Barea. Barea would come off the bench and change the tempo for the entire dallas maverics with his speed/quickness. Mitch do your magic ! I realize im just nitpicking, however Im just trying to reduce our chances of possibly failing this season. If Steve Nash misses games due to injury and steve blake is pushed into our starting lineup, that just seems like a really bad situation because Blake is not a good fit for this team, never has been and I dont expect a breakout season from a dude who only sits behind the 3pt line and shoots 3's. As a laker fan I am trying to take a realistic approach to this as well, because at Nash's age, no one should expect him to play all 82 games this season.
