Cartier Martin
Antawn Jamison
Vladimir Radmanovic
Grant Hill
Keyon Dooling
CJ Watson
and Jodie Meeks:
all guys off the list with great potential to help this team,
who have signed for the minimum this off-season.

Martell Webster gone (probably) for the minimum.
I like what Ebanks can bring, but Webster would've been a better fit on this squad with his jump-shooting ability.

In spite of a great offseason, if Barbosa and/or Pietrus end up going for the minimum as well, the Lakers will have dropped the ball as far as I'm concerned.

1st Need - a 3rd bigman who can provide a spark off bench (preferably with shooting skills)
Nominees .... Jamison --- DONE

2nd Need - a backup sf/swingman who can definitely shoot
Nominees .... Pietrus, McGrady, Redd, Raja Bell, Antoine Wright

3rd Need - a combo guard with shooting skills who can backup and play alongside Nash
Nominees .... Barbosa, Gilbert Arenas

Man, what a sad cast of characters available haha. I'm not interested in Gilbert Arenas. He peaked my interest last year during his "comeback", but I don't see him or his remaining skill set fitting in with the team. I'd rather play Blake/develop Morris. The only players I'd be interested in are the swingmen in Pietrus and Wright, but Pietrus isn't a 3 point threat and would essentially be another variety of the SF's we currently have. Antoine Wright is intriguing because IIRC he was a lottery pick with range, but my limited research shows he's been going down hill pretty quickly the past few years and when players bounce around mediocre foreign clubs, it's never a good sign. Redd could fit, but his 3-pt shooting has tailed off. I'm not sure of the status of whatever injury he had that crippled his career in Milwaukee either. Barbosa is definitely the best option off the list and would ge a solid pick-up (like Jamison was) for the min.

for 2nd need, Bill Walker is better statically than all the names you listed from 3pt range.

he's available? I remember the game when he hit 9 three's I think. very streaky and is a solid rebounder and an ok defender.

Is pietrous still available.
He would be a solid back up.
