Re: Sasha?
when sasha was traded to the nets, laker fans across the board were all justified in saying, "sasha sucks" due to the fact he just wasnt producing anymore. But in his short stint with the nets, he proved to productive once again. dont know the exact numbers, but i feel he averaged 12+ a game on 47%+. which makes me think my old theory of his woes being all mental to be true. i always felt sasha under preformed because of phils treatment/usage of him. who knows. but with phil gone, and lakers looking for 3 pt shooting, perimeter defense(he was such a pesky defender) from the bench, he would be a great pick up. but if you throw reality and likeliness into the conversation, sasha coming back to the lakers wont happen.

same could be said of Morrison if we're just going of off being on the team only and not on the floor.

so did he not want to come back or didnt' want to take a chance with the lockout and went straight to Europe? As far as being pesky, honestly thats another version of "fake hustle" he does try but it was pretty obvious it was in vein cause as hard as he tried he got lite up almost everytime, Dragic almost single handedly brought Pho back in one of the games during the 2010 wcf because of Sasha "D" on him.

Except Sasha played significant minutes and he was a beast in 08. Phil even moved Kobe to the 3 for Sasha.

He would love to come back and possibly rekindle with Sharapova and play for a ship again. The question is how much is he making overseas and would he take the vet min and do the Lakers even care to have Sasha on the team (likely not).

and then proceeded to suck big balls right after 08 after he got his contract, jee what a coincedence. The fact that he played semi decent during his short stint in Jersey makes it worse cause he didn't have the mental makeup to take the pressure to perform well for this team, rather he out performed his contract when playing for a bad team with no expectations to win.
