Josh Smith is such a bonehead, its not even funny to discuss Pau in that trade. He's just too thick to be any good.

If we traded for Josh Smith for Gasol i would want something more back in return.
A serviceable back up pg or a 3pt shooting sf.

Yo....OP you do realize our roster is set right ? I mean you can dream of these scenarios all day but nothing is going to happen. We aren't signing anybody else, the Lakers may hold one roster slot open on the 15 man roster to maybe add a vet at playoff time. In fact that's what I know is going to happen.

We already have both.

Stretch 4: Antawn Jamison
Defensive Monster: MWP and Dwight

What we really truly need is an athletic back up guard at the 1. Really too bad Sessions wasn't resigned because he'd be perfect.

Josh Smith would be a slight downgrade this season but a good move long term.
