Dr.Kllaper didn't seem to think the injury was too serious either because of its location and the fact they caught it early. Now they'll just sit him and let it heal.

Woj just said that he won't need surgery and should be ready for the opener.

Excellent news, hope it won't be a recurring issue for him.

Doesn't this prove that we need to put sacre on the roster? What if dwight or hill misses a week or two during the season? would be good to have sacre as a body

If we lose one or the other, we can still run a Jamison/Pau PF/C combo, with Clark off the bench... If we lose both, we're pretty much screwed unless we go full-small-ball when Pau rests....

Sacre isn't a necessity at this point but another Big that can come in and contribute might be nice... Frankly, I'm a little worried that outside of Howard and Hill, the next biggest guy with any kind of muscularity seems to be MWP... I'd feel a little more comfortable with another bruiser-big on the lineup...

I'll be ok with Sacre if Goudelock and DJO don't make the team then, because I don't want CDR to turn in to another Gerald Green for us this year. >.>

Cosign.....hell Nash made him look serviceable. But I'm glad J-Hill won't be out long.

Agreed.

I know we don't want to cut one of our wing players with still unknown potential, but anyone thinking we can roll with just Dwight, Pau, Hill as our only true bigs is in for a long season. How'd that work out in 2010-2011?

Hint: see Theo Ratliff and Joe Smith.

We need a young big like Sacre.

don't really see why we need Sacre, we have three guys on roster that can play C and Earl Clark and Jamison that would play PF. I mean Sacre was the 60th pick in the draft, if something happens to one of our bigs we can always sign some other big that would have the same value as Sacre who is nothing more than A D-League player. We need wing players a lot more though which is were we are weak with the exception of Kobe but also need to rest him.

I'm very high on DJO's and CDR's potentials in P&G but let's be real. the need for an insurance for the 5 spot is greater than the need for the other positions. we don't want to overwork Pau at the 5 while Dwight and Hill are rehabbing.

if there's only a way to cut one PG...
