They're not really using the scheme exclusively now. You see elements of it here and there. It almost looks like they're practicing and learning on the fly.

Move Nash to the bench and the problem is solved. He can push the tempo all he wants with the 2nd unit since our reserves are more athletic (Meeks, Hill, Ebanks, Sacre) than the starters. He'll still be able to get a very solid 25 minutes per game, and with low minutes during the regular season we'll be able to preserve him for the playoffs when he can play 30+.
Right now all Nash does is bring the ball up, dump it off, and wait for a spot-up opportunity. That's a role perfectly suited for *drum roll* Steve Blake.
Our bench sucks balls. They can't score to save their pathetic lives and if Steve Nash is known for anything it's making players around him a lot better than they really are by giving them easy scoring opportunities. He'll be able to dominate the ball and push the tempo which is precisely how he should be utilized for maximum effectiveness. Rather than continually losing leads our bench will be able to keep up and/or actually build leads so that we don't constantly give up the momentum that the starters built.
With an improved bench we're also able to limit starter minutes so it's just a big fat win all around, and I'm willing to bet that Nash wouldn't have an issue with it since he's such a professional and unselfish player.
Keep the Princeton as it's going to work great for us in the long run, but let Nash run the 2nd unit so that we can have a legitimate bench for a change.
