I think its time to change my Avatar. Need to change things up a bit to get rid of this losing streak we have since the playoffs.
Im pretty sure we will fine by the next game.

The biggest issue has been the defense, Especially in transition. I'm not even worried about the offense since Kobe has been playing well and D12 and Pau played great in the first two games. The turnover issues will iron itself out. Nash would be perfect to boost the bench if the Lakers had another competent point guard that could just defend and hit open shots. Blake was horrible on defense today. Even Bledsoe was having his way with him.

The two worst defensive teams in the league are the Lakers and Celtics at the moment.

Our offense is rated pretty high though (10th) considering we're dead last in turnovers.

I'm going to campaign for this all season long. Nash needs to be our 6th man and lead the 2nd unit. Unlike Fisher who made a stink about coming off the bench I don't think Nash will have any problem with it.

We're not going to find any PG's that can defend adequately (unless we get West which would be perfect for our purposes) so I don't mind Blake starting as long as he can hit a respectable percentage of shots.

That was just ugly last night, we will not go very far with Steve Blake as a starting point guard until we get Nash back.

Defensively we cannot stop anyone either right now, just got killed on the P&R's.

Howard's minutes and touches were down last night which is a bad sign. This team and Kobe cannot survive on him trying to score 40 every night, those days are long gone.

Have a to get a win against the D on Sunday, guys need to start believing.
Ball so hard.

I don't get it...here we are suffering game to game because our perimeter defense sucks and this guy who can be had for the minimum(and is a capable defender) is not signed yet

Who cares if we have 3 other PG's sans Nash?Try to trade some of them or let the rot on the bench
Brown even started playing Blake and Morris together in the last game, why the **** we don't sign the guy who played full time SG under Brown then?

He fills in such a big need, can be had for the minimum and we don't do **** about it...I wish we'd pick a player who can contribute via FA for once

i noticed last night clippers went with the strategy of letting kobe gets his, but then they didn't let anybody else get involved. clippers were swarming the paint whenever howard/gasol they gets the ball.

perimeter defense still sucks. i hope this will improve overtime. im not a big fan of ebanks but hes probably our only hope if FO is really done signing players. I would like to see more pt for him at 2 spot, make him guard the athletic shooting guards. morris sucks period. can't play D, makes dumbass plays etc.

i wouldn't mind rolling the dice on duhon now, he was a solid defender before and a very decent pg. maybe he still has something left in the tank.

All I heard the past three years from Knicks and Magic fans was how bad Duhon was. Don't hold your breath.

Defense still blows. Giving up an average of 107 pts/game in these first three games.

Lakers got more turnovers than a god damn bakery again last night with 20, and are also averaging 20 a game.

Bench has scored a total of 48 points through the first three, an average of 16 pts/game. Clipper bench scored 46 points in last night's game alone.

Fix those three things and this team just might actually win a game for once this season.

Was watching the game with a buddy of mine who's been a Clipper fan since the Danny Manning days, and he said to me towards the end of the game that he doesn't feel any competitiveness from the Lakers at all. Found it funny because I used to say the same about the Clippers back then whenever they would go up against the Lakers. That table is starting to turn I guess hahaha.
