slow down on the throwing meeks in mike's face stuff. first, he was going to play whether mike was here or not anyway with ebanks going off and getting arrested. second he needed 8 shots to get 7 pts, including 1 for 5 from 3. thats not going to cut it, ever.

Morris seems to be playing well with the starters. what do you do with the PG situation now?

and if Phil does get the coaching job, will he trust Morris?

Meeks back up 2, ebanks back up 3, jamison backup 4. Those rotations just work.

Everything the lakers did tonight was a slap in the face to mike brown. Mainly blowing out a team with essentially a pick up game offense as opposed to the months of work mike brown spent trying to implement the princeton and got no where with it.

Yep....if Meeks is looked at as a savior then we shouldn't be contending for nothing anyway.

He trusted Farmar and he was a coaching turd, at least D-MO is coachable.

You have to start Nash, there's just no getting around that. Morris has probably earned himself significant minutes as a backup though, this could mean the end of Steve Blake.

ebanks didnt even play, DUI.

and again, offense wasn't the story (16 TO's, 40% shooting), the defense was. defense was really good in the 2nd half, strong effort.

anyway, in this honeymoon period, im not shocked that all of a sudden pau playing 40 minutes in a blowout just gets overlooked. if that was mike out there doing that, watch out

Was going stealth mode around the RGM boards tonight, still amazing how many clueless basketball fans it is here. Guys really stuck on this "youth and athletic" mantra. Not realizing in playoff basketball the pace and tempo slows to a point to where execution is vital.

To be frank it's a lot of stupid guys who obviously never played any organized ball, it's so clear in what you see in their postings. I love that it's stupid guys here, cause they're the first ones that don't post when things they say go ass backwards.
