whats all this over hype about morris?? i under stand lakers haven't had a good quick point since van exel but he isn't that dude.. morris is a below average D league pg at best who's playing along side kobe howard pau an metta. his job is simple dont mess up an stay out the way. so lets not put extras on what it is. i rather have smush parker. now im far from a blake fan he's trash but i rather have him running the point then morris

He's improving almost every game. Not saying he has this bright future but if they continue to ride with him he will easily be the best backup on the team. Think about how the Heat stuck with Norris Cole after his play started to wane midseason. Gotta give the young dude confidence and he will elevate his game.

Last season he looked absolutely hopeless out on the floor and made bad decision after bad decision. He's still not a good play-maker but he's playing more under control this season.

Boost up his stats ans then trade him for Sessions! Doubt the Bobcats will trade Sessions though, he has been balling over there. Simply playing amazing, we always seem to let our best bench players go. Ariza, Brown and now Sessions.

They save cash, it's not pointless. It's the equivalent of L.A. signing Ariza for 2m in the off-season. If you consider that they're going to have to sign Pietrus or Bell now that's a little less cash even.

Yea for LA but how does this make the Wizards better? There is no benefit for this to make this deal. Also how does this help LA? What good is Ariza to LA at this point? LA really isnt in need of anything but better guard play and scoring from the bench which Ariza provide neither. Ariza really isnt even that good outside of the occasional defensive playmaking. He's a horrible shooter if not 10 miles open and cant create his own shot. MWP is a better offensive player and defender than Ariza. Just let duke go.

If there's a guy that can raise Blake's trade value it's D'Antoni. Run pick and roll, full court push the ball, and spot up shoot. That's Blake's game (no literally he can't do anything else).

Which should mean that he'll be a pretty good second PG for us...

Well, I still have some hope that he can hit the 3 ball consistently in D'Antoni's system and having him over Morris will be some kind of upgrade. Thats the frustrating part, Of course I'm probably lying to myself and he will come back and continue to suck like he always has.
