He was absolutely worthless in the last 2 seasons in the playoffs.

I like his work ethic, but he has broken down to injury before the playoffs 2 years in a row.

Just read a quote today on ESPN.com that he "was stuck in a bad situation" the last season with the Lakers. Said he was told when to shoot. And the reason he's playing so well now is that Del Negro is just letting him play and he doesn't have to worry about making mistakes.

Matt missed tons of wide open looks as a Laker and they had nothing to do with being told when to shoot. Besides that he couldn't stay out of trouble off te court not could be stay healthy when the playoffs rolled around.
