Nash had three to four turnovers passing the ball through the middle of the lane with a forward coming in and stealing the ball. How often was it MWP's man that was doing this?

Unfortunately Peace is zero threat to cut to the basket when his man leaves him because Peace can't finish at the rim worth a damn! :(

His terrible shooting also hurts L.A. D'Antoni has to consider lifting MWP from the lineup and reducing his playing time to merely backup PF along with Jamison.

Sign a true backup C like Jerome Jordan and go with small ball at the other positions.

That Denver game was lost on turnovers. L.A. started to pull close when Meeks was out there at the end.

Its time that we accept Peace for who he is, a back up PF. He's had trouble defending SFs for a long time now and taking away his attempts to post up and isolate alone would improve us 10 fold as a team. I hope if and when Pau returs, we move Clark to SF and MWP to the bench.

You can create spacing through movement. It's not easy, but you can create spacing via Clark moving off of the ball (L.A. did it versus OKC).

Peace is only useful in the Nash-Meeks-Bryant-MWP-Howard lineup.

The really lame part about losing last night to Denver is this. If we win that game I'm 95% sure we make the playoffs. After the loss I feel like we're a coin flip at best to make it. One damn stupid game means so freaking much! GRRRrrr!!

Lame we get three days rest before playing Minnehaha but zero rest before going to Denver and playing the stupid Nuggets...

Brutal. Which is why I have been saying that they are the team to beat not Houston. Houston will get in. In terms of SOS

Houston > Lakers >>> Portland > Dallas >>>>>> Utah

They have Atlanta next then a few easy ones then Memphis, Chicago, OKC, & Houston I believe in like 4 of 5 games

I actually really like this suggestion, I made this suggestion when we were talking about if Pau should come off the bench or not, but someone stated Clark playing SF was the reason he was nothing until now. I rather have clark out there at SF then Metta.
Make Metta our 6th Man, Pau can help facilitate to Dwight from the start and get him going early, then make MWP sub in for Pau early like 7-8 mark, then Pau comes back in for Dwight towards the end of the 1st. Only thing I don't like is with a starting line-up of Nash/Bryant/Clark/Pau/Dwight it forces Nash/Bryant/Clark to be sprinters back on defense. This is why I feel Blake should start over Nash and have him play off a facilitating Kobe & Pau. When Nash comes in maybe at the 6 minute mark him and Kobe can be the main facilitators. Then when Kobe gets his rest Nash is still out there to be the main facilitator when Pau also comes back in to give Dwight a breather.

Why not? Better defensively than Nash, with him playing in the same line up as Kobe would mean him having the ball less often instead of him being the primary facilitator when Kobe and Nash are not in the game. Blake is really horrible running the offense and setting up for others, he's better suited for the spot up 3 or catching and going to the rim (ala Sasha Vujacic type role). This puts Nash as the main facilitator when Kobe is getting his rest and that means more time for Nash and Meeks to be in with eachother. Nash needs a player he can kick it to for the open 3 like Meeks, but they rarely see time in with eachother because Blake is usually getting that PT next to Meeks.

If anything, relegate MWP to the bench role and put Meeks in the starting line up, with Nash, Kobe, Clark and Howard. We would suffer defensibly, but lets not act like Blake doesn't get abused on D either with so many good point guards in the NBA
