Started off the season being scoring efficient demon, to pretty much switching to PG, to combining his efficient scoring and playmaking abilities. I DON"T think he should get the MVP for a 6th seed, but if they somehow win 50 games (doubt it cause to reach that mark they can only lose 1 more game this season), then he should be considered heavily.
No one's arguing Lebron is the best player in the league.Lebron is the MVP thus far and deservedly so. But i look at it like this, take Kobe off the lakers, they wouldn't have a shot to get in the playoffs now. take lebron off Miami, they would probably be a 4 or 5 seed in the East.
I haven't watched games because you say so, ok cool guy. Yea let's make Kobe MVP because he is "our best AND most consistent player". Cuz that's what MVP is. The Lakers' best and most consistent player.
Take Kobe off the Lakers, and we don't have a shot... but put Kobe on these Lakers, and we have a shot at making it... big whoop. Lets get in the playoffs already. James Harden for MVP with your logic
so you ignore the part where i described the injuries this season? typical, when people don't have sh*t to say, they always resort to petty responses.
That is the problem. No one is acknowledging the adversity this team has gone through, with coach changes, injuries to nash, dwight, gasol, and blake. And the lakers still do not have gasol and dwight is out there playing at 50% with a torn labrum, a very serious injury. Considering those extraordinary issues the mvp considerations needs to go away from the usual team record requirement.
Kobe has had the greatest impact for the team's success which is why he needs to be in the mvp conversation especially if we climb to the 6th seed.
