Mitch Kupchak is in denial - he just doesn't want to admit that both Mike Brown and D'antoni were complete disasters for the team. Honestly I would rather had Jerry Sloan the season before

Not hiring Shaw or Adelman to replace Phil was the biggest mistake imo. Both Mikes were decent choices but just not the right fit.

I would not bring back Dantoni for next year. I just don't see efficiency or execution in the offensive system. I also believe, that firing Dantoni and bringing in a good coach, would go a long way in retaining Dwight and bringing in others

I can't believe the Knicks and Lakers fell for Dantoni's lies. He said he would bring in a defensive coach for both teams and when has that happened?

Re: Kupchak Says D
Hating on our coach does our team little good but man was I disappointed when it was announced MDA was going to replace Mike Brown.
To MDA's credit he did manage to get this team into the playoffs in a very tough Western conference while dealing with far more injuries than any other team had to deal with this year. Look at how good GS and Houston are. Even with injury after injury after injury we managed to keep pace with those teams even if it did require an incredible post AS push. We got quite a few wins after the AS break even if most of them were unimpressive. And that leads me to perhaps my single buggiest complaint. Our team had maybe three impressive wins all year. The victory over OKC and we maybe had two or three blowout wins. Everything else was a hard fought battle.
