Really? Cause 7-16 with 16 rbs isn't exactly "who's to blame". Steve v1 and v2 with the same number of assists as Pau really speaks volumes.

It's not like it's going to be an easy road at any point.

Spurs won, like they should, and it happened in the first quarter.

I dont know Jakay I'm just mad at the type of shots he takes. He can easily post up, but he always settles for jump shots.

Also I think we lost at the third quarter when Ginobili destroyed us.

The problem with Pau's jumper is not only the fact he shoots them so inconsistently it's his extremely slow release. Guy needs to get his shot off quicker but we all know that would make his abysmal perimeter shooting percentage even worse. And before somebody points out it's really not that bad keep in mind he's shooting wide open 18 footers. If he's going to be taking that shot with any regularity he needs to hit it more consistently.

It's not Pau's fault. He took a lot of jumpers, but 7-16 isn't a terrible night (Kobe's done MUCH worse). To me it's the 16 TO's, MWP 5 3pt attempts (it's ugly, but he can lay it up well inside using his strength) and Earl Clark disappearing more and more as the season progressed.

Pau has one of the ugliest forms in the league. On top of that, he shoots the ball with his palm touching the ball. Everybody knows shooting with the tips of your fingers is the best and most accurate way to shoot the basketball. Why hasn't that be corrected? Beats me......

Need to contain Tony a bit more. I dont know why we collapse on him. Also when Bonner starts making layups you know you're ****.

Our only hope to slow TP is to use our most physical guard or combination of guards to pressure him relentlessly. The Spurs took a 2-0 lead on OKC last year in the WCF's before the Thunder adjusted by putting Thabo on Parker. I believe it was Thabo anyway. Since we don't have one wing defender nearly as capable as Thabo perhaps we should run the offense through Pau and rotate different guards In and out as much as necessary to keep fresh legs constantly hounding TP.

Also maybe pick TP up in the backcourt some?

This game should be closer than the last game with us having at least some shot to win if we play well at all.

And your part about Bonner couldn't be more correct. That guy tilts me to no end!

I would consider starting Blake and Morris up.
Put Morris on parker since he is the only capable wing defender that we have.

I really believe that Nash can do the most damage with the second unit.

The only problem here is that morris is not a good 3 point shooter, so he wouldn't space the floor for us.

We've certainly got to do something about the bench. They didn't show up at all last game. Meanwhile, Ginobli lit us up.

Magic shot with his palm...it can be very accurate.

I think the art form of shooting is arbitrary.

There have seen some good shooters that have bad form.

Shawn mariosn threes come to mind.

Other sports have athletes that do things differently. Pau just needs to make more of them.
