LA's cap situation is not great, but when is it ever? The great advantage of running this team is that they can afford to consistently go over the cap substantially.

LA can /should use amnesty.
Artest is a great option since he is cringe worthy on offense, and slowing down on defense.
That money can go towards someone else.

As for FAs, Delfino has a team option for next year, and could possibly not even be available.
Brewer I've always liked, and wondered why he was not getting any minutes on OKC. I think he should be the top FA target from LA's front office for now.

Calderon would probably go for more than 3 mill per.
Everyone else is going to get paid more.
Pietrus is an option, but honestly he sucks.
Belinelli is decent at best and MAYBE and upgrade over Meeks.

Not much Lakers can do. Even without Dwight next year they are at 80 mill in salaries.
