Very impressed at George's development. Looks to be a hard worker.

I don't think it matters a lot who he watched, because he's the one putting in the work to improve his game.

We share the same opinion. I have a feeling Drummond will be added to that list in a season or 2.

Paul George adopts kobe's work ethic:

This guy is becoming a HOFer and in a couple of years will be lebron james rival IMO if he stays healthy and may very well bring indiana a ring one of these days. He does it on both ends and he is only 23.

His jumpshot needs more work perhaps but this guy is going to be a killer. He definitely showed some clutch plays in gake 1 against miami.

Makes you wonder if Lakers should save some money for him...maybe even have kobe mentor him. He is a CA native after all.

Paul hits free agency 2014. Imagine Paul George and Dwight Howard as the core as Kobe exits.

It's one thing to say you want to work as hard as Kobe. It's a WHOLE other thing to actually do it.

Pretty cool. Is that also why he wears 24? I see some of Kobe's game in his. I really like watching the dude play, hope his future turns out as good as it looks.

Is his handle strong enough? It's been my main beef about all the PG superstar talk. It seems because it seems like his handle is his weakest aspect of his game. Court vision is heavily-dictated by confidence in one's handle. You can focus more on your surroundings when your handle is more secure. I think it's just too late in his life to get that to where he needs it to be to be considered a superstar. Kobe, Wade, Lebron, Durant, Melo, and others legit superstars all have far more secure handles than PG.

I don't think he's ever going to be an efficient enough scorer/playmaker as a result of that limitation. I feel like handles are something you develop from early in life. Maybe I'm dated in my thinking, but I feel that if you're a wing, a good handle is pretty much a must in this league, because to be a superstar, you've gotta be both a great isolation player, as well as pnr player. All the players I listed are in that category. I'd add Pierce too, but he's on the decline. He's still got a better handle and first step than PG. I don't think PG will ever be a superstar. If you can't score on Ray Allen in isolation, you're too far off the benchmark on the offensive end. PEACE.

His handles were pretty horrible at the beginning of the year and have gotten better. A guy like KD made improvements in his handles this year. I think he'll be fine. He's a hard worker and he has the skills and has shown improvement.

George's handle is fine, he has gotten very good at splitting the pick and has pretty strong handles. His weakness IMO is more related to his lack of a scoring arsenal in the mid range, his inconsistent shooting off the dribble, and his limited play making skills/dumb turnovers off of passes.

Still a helluva player of course.

After this postseason I've become a fan of Paul George. I think he's got the potential to become an elite player, probably not the best SF (Considering how stacked the position is) but he'll probably make some noise the next couple of years.

Isn't he restricted in 2014? Guess he could become unrestricted in 2015 if he took the QO, but I doubt he passes on the max extension that Indy could provide just to come home to CA. Would be nice if he used that as leverage to force a S&T, but the Lakers wouldn't have anything on the roster to give except picks, and an older Nash.

Wish Paul George was playing along side with Kobe.
