Daye, T Williams, hell just guys that are YOUNG that can shoot the long ball and play defense. we must also remember that we arent going to be very powerful other than Nash, Bryant and Gasol. So as of now all I care about is our offense and Gasol returning to form

This is our most pressing concern ATM. We need a couple of young, durable forwards that can play scrappy D and shoot. The kinda guys that took the Spurs to the final.

Getting a deal together for the Wizards without using Hill should be the priority. I suppose Blake/Meeks in a three-way deal to save Washington a little cash could work. That would at least make it a search for a backup SF out of the bargain bin instead of a starting one. Ariza can handle 32-34 mpg easily. Cartier Martin could be the second guy. Then comes Sasha as a pseudo PG/SG. Perhaps even Goudelock next to him as the third-string guy.

BRILLIANT!

At this point we're tanking whether we admit it or not, no way this roster competes without major changes which frankly wont be possible until 2014. Unfortunately for us not many teams want to deal with the Lakers and more importantly no one wants the garbage we have to offer.

He's strong enough to handle the 3 and the fact that he's on his last legs is a good reason not to make him defend on those sneaky, fast SGs.

yeah, SGs these day are small and slick AND can score on jodie;nash;blake with ease

Fact is we're gonna be **** defensively no matter what.

Is Matt Barnes still available? Any shot of us getting him or he will stay with the Clippers? Just realized he graduated from UCLA. Maybe that's why he has been taking much less salary to stay with Lakers and Clippers.
