Hope this guy ends up being a pure energy guy at the NBA level. Looks like a matt barnes/Michael kidd-gilchrist hustle player.

His production freshman year is real similar to MKG's. His combine measurements are real similar too. I wonder if MKG didn't come out if he would've had a similar college career. I just don't think MKG will ever be more than an energy guy; his feel for the game just doesn't show natural scorer's instinct. Not that he's not a good player or anything.

I hope the lakers just found a huge undrafted steal though. Don't think we've ever been lucky enough to claim one of those right? Wasn't Jeremy lin on our radar, but our waiver order was too jacked to even try?

Looks like he can produce some quality minutes like 7-10 minutes.

I see D'Antoni rotating

Nash, blake , Farmar
Kobe, Young, Meeks
Johnson, Harris
then for PF/C's : Gasol , Hill , Kaman.

I dont really see Sacre, Kelly suiting up unless a blow out. But to be honest, I like how we actually went young for our pick ups. I would of liked to see Ayon get picked up though. Even though Ayon was whatever, we could of got him for cheap.

you cannot be serious. He's only 19 years old. What's up with you people labeling young kids as busts right after their rookie year?

And talent-wise, there are worlds between MKG and Harris.

there's nothing wrong with being an energy guy or garbage guy. Guys like Gerald Wallace and Shawn Marion have made splendid careers out of it. But yeah MKG is a much quicker jumper and has the ability to be a one foot leaper which Harris doesn't have which is a huge difference. I'm not knocking MKG, but rather saying Harris potential to be a good player like him.

He reminds me of Rick Fox for some reason... Let's hope he can get that kind of range.
