I said before he went to Phoenix, meaning Dantoni not Marion. The matrix was an all star before Nash and Pringles ever came there, an all star 3, that they made into a stretch 4.

My bad on the Barnes part

Wes has the wingspan of a 7 footer. He's young, quick, and he finished last year averaging double digits in his starts. He finishes at the rim well. All he needs to do to replicate Marion or Barnes in a lite fashion is run the floor, offensive rebound, and cut much like Earl Clark who was also a bust draft pick turned into a rotation 3/4. Its not like Clark was a defensive monster guarding the post or that guys with thin frames in the league like Ariza aren't seeing some time there in those spots

in 2000-2001, 3 of Phoenix's 6 most used lineups were with Marion at power forward

in 2001-2002, the suns top two used lineups were with marion at power forward

in 2002-2003, amare came on so they shifted marion more to sf, but make no mistake, marion was as much a pf as a sf way before MDA came on the scene.
