If you want good quality on HD, yes. If you do not mind bad quality there's other sources on the internet but since you seem to have a slow connection, LP is likely the best bet. They also have a 5 team pass for cheaper I think, you might want to explore that.

Hey I used to live in KY! One of the best region to live as a Laker fan. You could get great seats in about a 3-4 state radius when games were at Memphis, Atlanta, Indianapolis, and Chicago. Welcome to the board.

Yeah, I was thinking of getting league pass as well. But I was told that there were blackouts for central california. I don't understand why, cos we are about 3-4 hours from the Staples Center. Heard the same fate for Golden State and the Clippers!!! What the hell man!? So, thats about 3 of the teams I would pick if I were going to got the internet deal. I am going to see about 50 plus or minus games out 82? Is that correct?

Peer to peer streams for NBA are hit or miss. Most of the Pre- Season and summer league games have been of decent quality. It really is hit or miss. The quality and access has gotten a lot better than when I first start viewing them. However, sudden video or audio drops and lagging become more frequent when the regular season games hit the airwaves. I only pay internet service now so I was thinking of taking the money I saved and buying a Broadband LP package. I took part of the free week and loved it. After watching real Broadband LP it made it hard to go back to P2P streams.
