I love his game... Just not sold on him being the best player on a title contending team bro.

Remember he's only 23 though. He needs a good mentor....

PG seems like he could be even better than Kobe... IMO.

Wall was always underrated but when Beal got hurt last year, he took his game to another level. Literally overnight he totally changed in every way. His J became better, was always under control, disecting defenses like Chris Paul, could score like cray but was still pass 1st.

Thats why I was upset with him at the start of this year. He was playing so passive. He was still playing well because he is that talented. He can control a game and get 10ast without trying to be dominant but we didnt draft him #1 and give him 80mil to be a talented role player.

His FG% sucked but I thought that was strictly because he was playing in a passive manner so there was no rhythm to him shooting. Sure enough we lose again to go to 2-7 with Kyrie torching him for 40. He came out the next day and said that even though he's had back problems, its still mainly that he hasnt been aggressive enough and that it will change next game. We are 4-1 since then. His shot still didnt fall the first 2 games but he was much more aggressive. Had 28ast with just 2 turnovers in those first 2 games and then 3 straight 30pt games.

my only fear is he looked dead tired in the 2nd half. Maynor is garbage so we have no backup for him and now with Beal out, he has to do so much while being our only ball handler. We just played 4 games in 5 days, then had 2 days off and now starting tonight another 4 games in 5 nights. Hope we dont burn him out. We have a good starting 5 but the worst bench in the league

Props to the Wizards, they made the plays down the stretch and we didn't. Sometimes coaches lose games for you, tonight was one MDA lost for us. Yeah Blake had a solid game, but the unit that pushed ahead should've stayed on the floor to close it out. His insistence on playing Blake is going to hurt us again, but the guys played hard, stayed in the game for the most part.

Hate to harp on it but this is the type of game that you need Kobe, we probably win despite MDA's blunder. Oh well on to Brooklyn.

Most teams wont be able to keep up with that pace. You guys play kinda like how Philly does which is why they caught so many teams off guard earlier this year but you guys have more talent. Mike D has really set his style on your team and if Kobe can fit in, you guys will be very tough to beat

im not so sure that philly has less talent than a kobe-less lakers squad... at least on paper. i'd say theyre easily better.
Warspite:

Prince + filler for Kobe Bryant
To be honest the way Prince has played and with Kobes injury/age/mileage Im not sure I would do that deal either. Still Prince is more important and he wins the head to head battles with Kobe.

Should have subbed Meeks in and taken Nick Young out. :uhoh:

Nick was fine as a SG in the set we had out there with X at 3. If Nick is being the 3 you need Meeks at the 2 to close as that's what's been shown in these wins when we've closed games. Young at the 3 and Blake at the 2 has been fail in tandem on the year, so you either go 3 guard set, keep X out there, or insert Meeks At SG
