I don't give a **** what 76ers fans think. Since when do they know what a good basketball team is?

A Lakers loss is a Lakers win, this season. Give me a damn nice lottery pick over being playoff fodder for the Spurs, Rockets or Thunder.

The roster the lakers are putting out there is a bunch of vet min players that have no business competing with any other team in the nba. That they manage to keep it close is a testament to the heart and chemistry that this team has developed and is playing with.

I noticed that also. Somebody should've been all in Turner face for that crap. In reality I loved seeing that fire from Nick Young. I did notice Turner apologizing after he did it. But he still did it and was show boating

Phuck they feelings. You win the game, or you lay him out. Would it have been nice to have him not dunk that? Sure, but he had every right to add insult to injury

So much for getting back to .500 with this "easy" stretch of games.

0.500 will not get us anywhere near the playoffs but this team has too much character to openly tank games, you can see how much a loss hurts in nick young's face after each game.

I'm worried about X, his contract is non guaranteed and if the prognosis on his injury is bad he could be cut by 7th jan, which would suck balls!

Dude just look at our roster, other then Kobe no player should be starting on our team. The front office knew damn well what they were doing, brilliantly positioning the team to "tank". Getting abunch of guys that will play hard but will ultimately fall short at the end. In Mitch I trust

Do you actually believe that or you just making noise? The front office put together the best possible team they could this offseason. It was very impressive. The problem is the Laker's only "real talent" going into this season is injured or old. Except Jordan Hill.

Just some thoughts....

For one don't see why anybody is mad about how our season is going. Even if we stayed healthy all we would've been is a sniper team so to speak. Meaning it was going to be a lot of nights we caught even the best teams off guard.

But looking at the guys we're running out to start games, it was good we kept it in striking range most of the game.

Simply put we don't have the guns we planned on firing with most nights. We're 13 and 18 and as sad as that seems we're still only 4 1/2 games out of the 8th seed. If we can get Blake back and Jordan gets back up to speed and Pau stops with the sick BS we can get back to how we were before Kobe came back.

Then if we can make up some ground and stay in striking range, Kobe coming back may give a boost to things.

Like I said from the beginning, even if we make the playoffs we're not winning a title. But I'd damn sure like to wreck up somebody else's dream season. That's all I was hoping for. Not 50 wins, no high seeding or none of that. My expectations were well within reality's scope, I said about 45-47 wins and would settle for the 8th seed...7th at best.

So you won't see any cheerleading from me on "tanking", because when Kobe does come back he alone will get us to 40,43 wins. So unless some of you guys here only see us winning about 7-10 more games....that's about the only chance in hell we can even sniff a top 5 lottery pick.

We're also 4 games out of being the worst team in the WC and having a top 5 worst record if you want to go that route
Also Pau apparently is going to be dealt at some point,so even the FO is tanking, don't know why any fans should not be on board with this if the management itself contemplates it

How is settling for the 8th spot better than tanking and possibly getting a franchise player through the draft? We're not wrecking anyone's dream,an 8th seed like you hope for means OKC/Spurs in the first round and getting swept
....while not getting a lottery pick and improve that much roster wise for the future

When Kobe gets back we'll most likely be 12-15 games under .500....starting next week we play 10 out of 11 games on the road with quality teams, not Milwaukee's,Sixers' or Utah's of the league which still beat us
Still struggling roster wise that is....that's the nail in the coffin
If we're going to reach that point and Pau is dealt meanwhile,Kobe won't do **** by himself...heck,he should be benched for the rest of the season to preserve any legs he has left for the next 2 yrs

We're 4-5 games out of top 5 territory just by record that is....we still have the lottery to go through
How the **** is improbable to get there when we are crippled roster wise,we have a hellish schedule coming up and the FO are looking to trade Pau which screams "tank" all over it?

It's easier to get a top 5 pick that making the playoffs, and that's the truth

I'm not gonna go tit for tat with you RO on this. All I'm saying is you guys put way way too much faith in today's college players. These guys aren't Magic, Bird or Jordan coming out. Those guys were ready to lead a team from Day 1. Today's players need like 4-5 years before they can even think about holding the torch. Even Lebron for example was good but he wasn't great. You know who is getting his "great' years ?......The Heat not the Cavs. Everybody was fooled by his 07 Finals appearance, he got schooled by a more vet laden team.

So bottom line is that yes we can find a franchise type player in the draft.....doesn't mean he'll be franchise ready from Day 1 and that's the misconceptions you guys bank on way too much.

Even if we got one of these guys we still not a title contender. Believe that.

Well yes,but it would be a foundation, some kind of **** talent which we lack right now...we don't have anything right now

And it would go a long way in the summer of 2015 or 2016 having some kind of talent on the roster...FA would be more willing to sign with us knowing we have some kind of talent on the roster to easen their burden

Overall I agree with you RO, I'm just not sold that those guys will come in ready. No one comes in fully ready....at least that's perception I get from reading certain post here ( not saying you ), but yes it would help if a top FA can at least see some future hope. Fully agree.
