Good game guys, could have gone either way.

I'm not on the tank bandwagon entirely, but I am looking forward to the second lottery pick we've gotten in my adult life.

The Cleveland Cavaliers folks. Traded for Luol Deng to get into the playoffs. Still stuck in the bottom of the pathetic Eastern conference, blow an 18 point lead to the Suns by scoring only SIX points in the 3rd. The good news? They can still turn it around (LOL) by giving us their unprotected 2014 1st for 20 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists, 50+% FG in Pau Gasol. Let's make a deal happen in...comic sans.

We've battled for championships, now we're battling for ping pong balls. Lakers-Celtics the rivalry continues...

I don't know how long it will take Rondo to get back to form, but a costly turnover there loses them the game...

Earl Clark, Anthony Bennett, CJ Miles, and Alonzo Gee works salary wise. The only player that is arguably in their rotation at the moment is Miles and he can be replaced by Waiters primarily with minutes from Dellavedova, Jack, Karasev, and Felix. Gee and Clark are non guaranteed for next year, Miles is expiring. We'd only be left with Bennett's rookie deal which has a team option in the summer of 2015. It's probably not realistic to expect an unprotected 1st (at least this year) from them, but playerwise a deal is possible IMO.

I have to say manny Harris is surprising me, playing much more at a controlled pace than I expected from a NBDL guy

You guys love every d-league player on the team and think they should all be kept for next season, if that happens we'll end up with the same record we have now if not worse

No

if we added someone like Embiid/Wigginz + premier FA and healthy Kobe, it would be scary.

lol, they wouldnt even give us alonso gee in the bynum-gasol trade, let alone bennett? (or replacing miles with waiters?)

good luck with that

somehow i dont think cleveland are THAT desperate to make the playoffs just to get eliminated in the first round by indy or miami

Cavs didn't trade for a player that will command 12million/year in FA only to then trade for another player that will command 10+ as well.

They offered us Gee and Miles and some 2nd rounders. And I meant that Waiters would replace Miles as the starting SG, but they would probably plug in Karasev as Waiters/Irving doesn't seem to work too well. Anyway, I don't think Cleveland should try to make the playoffs either, but I'm sure they're thinking that Kyrie won't be too happy being stuck in the lotto year in and year out with nothing to show for it (see Anthony Bennett). I have no idea what the Cavs were thinking taking Bennett 1st overall and am even more mystified as to why they haven't sent him to the NBDL to get some playing time instead of rotting on the bench. I honestly don't think he's untouchable for the right piece to a playoff push. Earl Clark has just been a massive bust signing for them obviously (Mike Brown trying to force him to play SF in his nonexistent offensive scheme doesn't help matters) and is definitely not untouchable.
