This tanking is a disease...It's Ok to lose if you suck, and have a slightly better draft pick as a silver lining, but it's like we won the championship every time we lose - Just not down with that, especially against a punk OKC team.

Kobe, Meeks and Henry will eventually come back, and the team will be steered to something like the 9th or 10th seed. Wonder how you tankers will like that, because that's probably what's going to happen.

yeah broken down out of shape Kobe, no knee Henry, and Meeks just like he has all year are really going to hurt the tank especially when after the next ten games we're basically just playing playoff teams till the end of year.

"its ok to lose if you suck"

good cuz the lakers suck really bad. if anything, we are worse than our record is.

some of us are trying to find the positives in being this bad, you act as if fans enjoy tanking. just to clue you in since you seem ignorant - nobody likes tanking, but its the reality of being a **** team. yeah people like having fun with the whole tank jokes but its just peoples way of making light of us being so terrible. its better than just dumping on the team.

Have you seen how brutal the remaining schedule is? Because it has "tank" written all over it, Kobe or no Kobe. The majority of the remaining schedule is against playoff teams and teams close to the playoffs... with that being said I'm confident we will be in top 5. As much as I hate to say it I think Kobe should sit out the rest of the season and let himself heal, that way he'll be at 100% for next season.

He was actually the fourth string for most of the year. I don't get it either but ever since they've made sure to have Pau play C again (and thank god because he's so much better as a Center), D'Antoni just wasn't going to play Kaman alongside of him.
