Even in an ASG Scott Brooks is a horrible coach.

Glad we could throw the East a bone. Let them know what it's like to win once in a while.

The all star game was a drag without Kobe. Guess were going to have to get used to that.

Not the LeBron vs Durant I was expecting.

I watched that '92 All Star game that Magic went off in against MJ etc...

And then I watched part of this one, and what struck me is that our current stars have no personality on the court... They are so mind numbingly boring to watch compared to those old guys, it's painful.

That and like others said.... No D... No intensity... And not a whole lot of creativity. It was like watching a video game in autoplay mode.

Even in the previous al star games there were talking points like wade smashing Kobe in the mouth, Kobe blocking Lebron, Shaq going 1 on 1 with a guard etc, this one was completely forgettable.

http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/23 ... 3M-Viewers
TNT's live telecast of the NBA All-Star Game peaked with 4.7 million households in the United states and a total of 8.3 million viewers.

The top-five metered markets were Oklahoma City, New Orleans, Richmond (VA), Miami and San Antonio.

The NFL Pro Bowl drew 11.7 million viewers this season. The NFL has considered eliminating the Pro Bowl, while many in NBA circles consider the All-Star Weekend its signature event.

 When the pro bowl has more viewers than you, its time to change things.
