99% of the fanbase expected the Lakers to underperform. even the optimistic fans knew it would be hard to get to the post season but you were a big reason why the Lakers were respectable and gave us hope it can be done. One of my favorite lakers of all time. Such a competitor, he always played his heart out every night, sacrificed his body, what a tough mofo, love the fact that he got twitter death threats for a missed shot in the playoffs and in the next game hit a game winner.

Anti-swag, just an old school gritty son of a bitch.

Big fan of Steve. Was gritty and all about team. He would take flack for taking the last shot when he was told. I was one of the few who actually defended him all these years. And a fellow Christian.

To be real, I wasn't too thrilled when we originally signed Blake, but over time he has grown on me and I've come to appreciate his game and what he brings to the table. I'll always respect him for taking over the scoring load last couple games when Kobe went down and we were still fighting for the playoffs. He stepped up over the other 'stars' that were bitching for touches all year, yet when they became available, they took a back seat to this guy. Just wish he could have stayed healthy more than he did.

haha I was the opposite, LOVED the signing, hated him more and more as the seasons progressed.

Definitely gonna miss his toughness and dedication to the game. His poise was what separated him from a lot of players. I'm happy he's in a good position to win tho, best of wishes to him.
