bottom line, wins won't help the lakers none. losses do.

it's a VERY tight race to the bottom, a win here or there might mean the difference between 20%/56% chance at #1/top 3 or <1%/3%.

it is that tight this season. there's no shame in cheering for losses for one season out of every decade.

Wiggins, Embiid, Exum, Parker...we don't need to win the lottery, just need a top pick. And people are happy over losses because there's no alternative. I didn't come into the season ready to tank. I thought they could get the 8 seed and I was down for it, let's go. But then we got injuries and fell so hard that there's no point. So instead u wanna win and not make the playoffs? Nothing is a lock. We might draft a bust. But we also might draft a future hall of famer.

I was along the same thought process Pierre, the injuries decimated us to shreds. But real being real I'm not gonna cheer losses, that process will take care of it's self. To sit here and come to this board every game and see the same redundant posters spewing the same bull sh*t is stupid straight.

It's a forgone conclusion that this team sin't good enough to win most night because for one not even looking at talent, these guys don't have IQ to play the game with smarts.

Tonight I saw about 10 TO's that were UNFORCED....bad passes that 4th graders would do. So in short this team is taking care of it's self losing wise.

And I'm not thinking they'll make the playoffs at this point....c'mon man what are you trying to do insult my knowledge of the game ?

Na I get it, we shouldn't cheer to lose. It's hard to describe what I'm doing when I'm watching the games because I'm not rooting for the other team lol. I really like these guys on the squad, want to see them do well. But I guess the draft is so foreign to us. I don't think I've ever watched the NBA Draft and actually cared before. I'd flip sometimes and it'd be on but it wouldn't really matter because we either wouldn't have a pick or would be too good to get a good one. So I guess the opportunity to get a great pick, in whats being labeled in one of the best drafts, is exciting.

For all you guys getting happy over losses, take the time and look back through NBA history and tell me how many times the team with the worst record won the Lottery ?

I tell you guy but I want these young bucks to do some research for a change.

I think it's more about fans being happy that the lakers would have a decent shot at getting one of the players out of the Exum, Embiid, Parker, Wiggins, Randle crop. Yeah there's a good possibility none will ever be a top 5 player in the league but each one should be a good NBA player. Not to mention when you've hit rock bottom you better start somewhere to get back on top, and getting a cheap young prospect with upside is a good way to start.
