we tanking just fine, having him back doesn't help any but the tank effort would look a lot less appealing to the eyes with his horrendous play. At least with likes of the young guys, Bazemore, X, Young, Wes there's some potential for exciting plays. Two things stand out bout MWP during last year season, his horrible shooting and his horrible decision making in regards to getting into the paint with really stupid layup attemps that either gets blocked or misses by a mile.

I would welcome Metta back after e summer. Allow him access to facilities and let him and Kobe both rehab all summer together. Metta can start at 4 for us and it would work. He is still better than Wes, Williams, Kelly, and our bs PF rotation

giving any credit to MWP is a diservice towards Howard, as much as I hate that Clown majority of last years defensive distinction belongs to Howard. MWP was/is still a horrid defender at both the 3 and the 4. He couldn't handle quicker guys at the 3 and while he had the strength to bother the 4's he wasn't tall enough to bother their shots. Now we're talking bout 1yr older, worse knees and no Howard and you expect MWP to have any type of impact like last season? Wes shouldn't be used any type of berometer, especially as the "stretch 4". Only a moronic coach like Antoni would think a 6 8" scrawny arse Wes would be a good at idea to play the 4 because he can shoot 3's ....check out Wes #'s prior to the trade deadline where he played soley at the 3 majority of the time, he was avg. something aroudn 16ppg.
