I am not excited about resigning Gasol who for the last two years has not played to his true potential wih injuries and lackluster energy and effort. I would say that he is not a good fit for just any coach, so picking a better coach must be a priority, but if Gasol refuses to sign for less then 10 million -I say let him walk. The only thing, however is that the Lakers don't have many choices until 2016 which is the main reason they signed Kobe for two more years and committed to delay blowing up the team and starting from scratch
That being said, I still thinkg 15 million for Kobe and 9 for Gasol would have been plenty
