The problem the Lakers face now is that there is NO flash rebuild. It's better to assume Kobe is toast, the Lakers ownership isn't focused on a Cship for the next 2 years and that once Kobe's profitable playing days are up, the Lakers will re-tool with essentially a blank canvas.
