Lakers should give Manny Harris another look. Really liked his potential w/ the Lakers last season. Make these guys earn their spots on the squad this upcoming season.

It's been a long minute since I was in school but iirc your bones are constantly tearing down and rebuilding themselves so every two years you're looking at a completely different bone than you had before. If he hasn't been lazy and has been rehabbing his foot right by jogging/running (helps promote calcium absorption and bone strength rather than just being sedentary) his foot could be stronger than ever.

I know everyone thought this guy had a real future as a rookie before injuries; if he shows he's got "it" back in the summer league I hope we lock him up for the minimum for as many years as possible. I wouldn't mind having a fringe starter like him on the bench for the vets minimum 2 years from now; if he doesn't pan out just take the hit and waive him. Medium risk, high reward imo.
