Realistic Possibilities for Lebron and Melo (July 8, 2014)

Post#1 » by tviper » Wed Jul 9, 2014 4:42 am

This post does not take into account unrealistic situations such as Lebron or Melo taking the MLE, or NYK trading all of its bad contracts to PHI for cap space, just the most probable outcomes based on reports to date in view of the CBA, in the order of most likely:

Lebron
1. Lebron, Bosh, Wade resign in MIA
2. Lebron signs in CLE, Bosh signs in HOU, Wade stays in MIA
3. Lebron and Melo sign with LAL

Melo
1. Melo resigns with NYK
2. Melo signs with LAL
3. Melo is traded to CHI
4. Melo and Lebron sign with LAL

I understand the thought process & endorse the thread as I find myself looking at my iPhone all day long... I do think #1 & #2 on each player is a viable option... I personally believe Melo will land in LA & LeBron will stay in Miami... I have a feeling Wednesday will be BIG...

there are certainly more likely and less likely. that is why they are ordered in this way. According to at least some of the talking heads, LAL is still in play for both guys although it is the least likely scenario IMO. actually, I saw that Woj said it is between CLE and LAL, so you are right, the two teaming up in LAL is unrealistic.

I think it's a fair post, not much to discuss though.

Lets just end this thread I think its pretty obvious that these 2 guys aren't working together on some master plan this theory was cooked up by Stephen A Smith to get ratings for First Take.

The question to ask is who wants to play for a racist owner in cleveland. Who all of the sudden loves lebron? Get real. And who wants to go to a dysfunctional situation with the knicks, where the whole free agency stuff would be solved, if jax would coach the team. If he did that, EVERYONE is goin to New York. Instead, he wants to play with buttons. That leaves only 1 choice! I LOVE LA! This is the best environment to play in. This is the winning tradition and history. You hand pick your own coach!
