And truth be told in Lakers history, their biggest moves have always been the big trade not free agency. Shaq was the exception to the rule in 96. Even Kobe was acquired in a trade. Free agency won't be our answer to this rebuild. Trying to get draft picks and then striking luck with a big trade.

Lakers should be keeping their picks over the next couple years accumulating assets.

Lakers already traded 2 first round picks to get Nash, we are not trading another first round to get rid of him. He is 41 years old. We need picks for the future. Nash is not the future. Stop giving away picks. We need to aquire pics.

The only chance Lin actually improves is under Nash's wing.
