Kobe say it ain't so

Post#1 » by AfG PrInCe » Fri Oct 17, 2014 2:18 pm

Hey guys,

Not gonna lie I am a Raptors fan first and I live in toronto. But my favorite player of all time after Jordan has been Kobe Bryant. Ive watched him since he got drafted and I have seen almost every game of his.

When we face you guys, obviously I want the raptors to win but I want Kobe to drop 50.

That 81 point game felt so good and so bad at the same time lol.

But everybody is saying hes done and I refuse to believe it. I cannot see Kobe going down this quick. I feel so bad watching him get blown out by teams like the jazz and he has no help. It will be a sad day when he retires, but I really hope he wins another title with the lakers and shuts the haters up.

Ive never posted on the lakers board, but I had to, its tough seeing him like this.

If Kobe wanted to win another ring, he would have signed a two-year, $24 million dollar deal. They could have added players to this roster who, if not Melo and LeBron, could have been Chandler Parsons, Luol Deng, Eric Bledsoe, Greg Monroe, etc.

I understand it's not fair to ask the players to take less money to win, but that's what it is.

Relax, give him time. I think the plan this season is for Kobe to knock off his rust and the management to spend long term money next season. They weren't interested in any of the free agents this summer so they kicked the ball down the road. Nothing wrong with that. Better come strong than come early.

Done with what? Winning? Yes. Playing defense with a high effort level consistently? Yes. Scoring the basketball? Heellllll no.

I know, but hes only got so many years left. I understand if ur rebuilding or retooling when ur star player is young, but when Kobe is approaching 40, is it right to stay patient? This will be 2 years in a row that the lakers will suck. It all started with friggin Pringles running him into the ground, and Dwight Howard is the biggest POS lol
