Mitch has said multiple times that they didn't honestly believe they'd get Boozer from their amnesty bid. So they were just doing their due diligence, IMO.

With the way Randle (all star like), Davis (PnR) and Sacre (Smits) are playing, and the fact that Nash is done for the season, (no Marshall) it seems like it's almost a misfortune that they got Boozer with the bid?

Again but with Nash gone another vet helps this team's young.

I hope everyone realizes that other than Kobe, Boozer is the only other Laker who has been a consistent starter in the league. We're very inexperienced. Probably the most inexperienced Lakers team I can remember and it's why most outside the team look in and say the sky is falling.

I think our youth is going to be a strength this year, but you still need guys who have walked the walk to be a presence in the locker room and on the floor. We're in for a lot of growing pains this year.

Agreed. It's good to have Boozer around. I don't think he's that bad at all. He's not up to Thibs' standard but should be fine on another team. He was a 20/10 guy not too long ago playing for Sloan. He's definitely good for winning, especially since tanking is not allowed.

Thanks for the honesty.
