That is because we haven't no talent outside of Kobe on this team. We are starting Houston's back up point guard no real center and an old inconsistent Boozer. Oh yeah kobe is the problem. Smh

You fail to see the big picture. Its not about trading for players who will help us win now, because thats not going to happen. Its simply about cutting ties with Kobe and his contract now rather than later. The sooner we do that the sooner we start our rebuilding process.

Unless you can honestly say you are ok watching our current product for the next 2 years.

If so, god bless your soul.

Has nothing to do with my soul it's basketball. You're willing to trade the only good player we have for something that might pan out in the future? Who are these players that are going to help us build in the future. The Suns have our pick next year our very good rookie is injured until next season. I never heard about us going after Lowry or Stephenson or anyone else who wasn't lebron or Melo that could have helped us. All this cutting kobe loose to rebuild talk is knee jerk and really has no basis or chance of happening at all

And yet that's exactly it. Kobe isn't a part of our future.

Says who? No he won't be a number one option in a couple of years but there's no guarantee he is going to retire.

He's welcome to go sign somewhere else then.

there shouldn't be any chemistry developed in the first 10 games for the lakers, it's not possible. We played every single night against tough western conference playoff teams that had been together for at least a few years with much better team chemistry.

It's like Lin gets stolen by the likes of Leonard and AI, those guys do the same thing to Lebron/Durant all the time. it's not fair to evaluate this team or players given the schedule of the 10 games. But yes, Kobe shoots too much, that has nothing to do with coach BS, kobe, lin or any player. It's the result of lakers having no team chemistry what so ever.

Kinda expected this, but I'm still not impressed with Golden State. They'll be a second round out again come May. In the regular season it's so easy to look good on most nights, especially against bad teams. They have so many weakness it's funny to me how guys keep harping on them being "championship level".

They're a perimeter based team, and when a defense can take out Klay and Steph were do they get scoring from then ? Then on the other hand they turn it over like crazy, that ain't gonna change no time soon.

Again they're pretty in the regular season, but they're not winning a title. That's not hate....that's just real talk.

7th in the league for points in the paint.

3rd in defensive efficiency.
Those are skewed stats, those points come from the boat load of run out lay ups the Warriors get. They can't manufacture points in the paint playoff style when the game slows down, that's why the Spurs dumped them out the playoffs.

hey...I was SURE that with Kobe and Pau expiring.. it's FA time.. so they REUP Kobe at more $ than anyone would bid.. and not 10 games in.. want to unload him (as if).

Last night..Kobe shot about till his arm fell off.. it was not working. Lucky GSW's 3rd string was rusty. Could have been a 40 point massacre. Should have let Kobe EXPIRE and go. Try again in 2 years.

MKL wrote:Yeah, Lin might be gone actually. Team doesn't need a PG at all with Kobe offense. Might as well get a defensive player. However, the other team only need 1 defender on Kobe. I don't even know if that's basketball anymore.

Tanking is confusing.
Hey..you get used to it...Pretend you are a Sacramento fan. :(

FWIW... if lin..or Kobe.. is SUCKING... nobody will WANT them... so.. ride it to the rolly Coaster stops.

Davis' gotta start. 7/9 from Bogut? The bigs couldn't protect the rim at all when they did any kind of long passes. 4/5 by Green, 8/11 by Speights? Even AI2 had a good game.

Two of Lin's worst games offensively came against GS. I think he concentrates on defending Curry a little too much. He defends him well for the majority of the game, Curry got going against Lin only when the game was out of reach. He didn't play a very bad game, just not star like and very bad stats.

The Warriors have had one of the best records against the strongest schedule this young season. Your same criticism can be leveled against the Rockets, Raptors, or Grizzlies.

They're a perimeter based team, and when a defense can take out Klay and Steph were do they get scoring from then ? Then on the other hand they turn it over like crazy, that ain't gonna change no time soon.

Did David Lee die? Plus the Warriors are focused on running a system less dependent on Curry and Thompson isolation and simplistic plays this year. Saying "what if a defense takes out Klay AND curry" is like saying what if a defense takes out Westbrook and Durant. Unlike certain other teams, they're trying NOT to rely on one or two solitary scorers and are trying to emulate the Spurs, though they're hell of a long ways away. And I'm not seeing many defenses capable of icing both Klay and Curry consistently, so long as the Warriors avoid the shallow offense last year.

Plus the Warriors have had a league leading defense. That's what they rely on when they have to win ugly, and defense generates turnovers and transition, which they live off of.

Again they're pretty in the regular season, but they're not winning a title. That's not hate....that's just real talk.

They've been winning pretty and ugly. The only teams the Warriors really should fear are the Spurs and Grizzlies.
