Brave men, sacrificing for the pick, no pain no gain.
Thanks for the honesty.MorbidHEAT wrote:My dislike for Lin started during Linsanity. It was absurd. It's probably irrational dislike at this point, but man he gets on my nerves. He's been tearing us up though.

He could have been magic in my opinion. He tried to be mj instead. His passing is not underrated, he just rarely passes. If he passed more, the world would see.
Kobe is definitely more of a Michael. More of an Assasins mentality.
Sure his passing skills are a bit overlooked but that's never been his brand of basketball.
Magic , LEBRON, Pistol Pete, Penny Hardaway, Scottie, and Lamar Odom are one of kind ball players in their own craft. More of a pass first mentality getting others involved. The so called silent Assasins.
Kobe, MJ, Elgin Baylor, Bernard King, Allen Iverson ext. are more of the "go for the jugular ", shoot first type of ball player.
Point taken, but compared to the players (minus MJ) used for comparison, Kobe possesses more skills and physical attributes to take over games much more than a one dimensional player.
MJ learned to make better decisions throughout his career. He was a scorer at first..but developed into the greatest player ever by evolving and making the right play to win. He also took safer shots, and didint force as many difficult ones I think.

Kobe is one of the greatest all-round ballers ever. He's just got to realize the "Be Like Mike Era" is over and adjust his game accordingly.
Thats what im saying.

He's got maybe 2 seasons left... Why change his game now?
I wanted him to change his game like 5 years ago, but now I feel like it's really on the Organization to build a team that masks his deficiencies and allows him to compete in the twilight of his career.
It's not really fair to ask that old a dog to change it up completely to make the team better.
Basically, I feel like Kobe should be able to come in and do whatever the hell he wanted, within reason. I think he's less effective when he 'tries' to do stuff now.
